While I usually don’t watch them, one of my absolute favorite web-series as of late is something by one of my favorite directors. This web-series is called: “Adam Green’s Scary Sleepover“. [check out every season one episode over here] The concept is fairly simple – Adam has someone that either was in a horror film or made a horror film come to his ‘office'; and they just hang out, talk about movies, and have a typical “sleepover”. It’s essentially something I’d love to do; if I had more friends..famous friends. In one of the later episodes of Scary Sleepover‘s first season, [season two is coming in October!] there was a teaser for something new – something calling itself “20 SECONDS TO LIVE“.. According to it’s official website, the concept of this series is fairly simple: it’s an anthology web-series that dares it’s viewers to pay close attention, because no matter how the short story seems to begin, in exactly twenty seconds, someone’s going to die.. 20 SECONDS TO LIVE comes off as the horror/comedy series that is aimed at people who seem to hate happy endings. With each episode being somewhat short, [clocking in at just under five minutes] the feeling of the episode[s] seem quick and to the point; which is not a bad thing; in fact, I prefer it that way. Episodes are set to come out every Friday, and with this series quickly becoming a new favorite of mine, I’m excited for more – even though there’s only been one episode so far. Originally posted two days ago, [June 5th, 2015] this first episode is titled “Anniversary“, which should already have you curious as to how the story is going to play out..especially with death looming over everyone’s shoulder. Anniversary follows a married couple who are celebrating, – you guessed it – their anniversary. However, they are blindly unaware that someone is watching them from out of sight..
